Students and staff of St. Mary Champion H.S. School celebrated  Dussehra  in school on October 16 with great enthusiasm and energy.

A special program was conducted, in which Rev. Sr. Maria Selvi   was the guest of honour. Students welcomed her with flowers.

The students spoke on the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated in the country. Cultural programs were held in the school premises. The students showcased a dance of the various forms of  Goddess Durga . The little ones also dressed up in their best, like Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Ravan and Durga. They showcased the rituals graced the occasion.

Rev. Sr. Maria and principal mam danced  on the tune of Dandiya.  A traditional dance was presented by the students and teachers in a graceful manner. Colorful attire worn by the dancers and colorful sticks carried by them were eye-catching.

Principal Mam and Rev. Sr .Marika appreciated everyone for presenting the  wonderful  programme.
